    A privately owned studio apartment located within the village's prestigious 'Sport-hotel' on 3rd floor with spectacular views up the valley over grazing pastures to the Dachstein ridge, and over to the ski slopes and '3 churches'.

    It consists on a large room with twin beds and wardrobe to the rear, and one large L-shaped sofa’, and a dining table, at the front leading on to the private balcony, where meals can be taken at the table in summer. There is also a modern kitchen and bathroom with tub, shower, WC and basin. Pictures and ornaments make the apartment more homely.

    Downstairs in the hotel guests may use all facilities: the bar and restaurant, gym, wellness centre, tennis hall, ski storage, with free use of the indoor pool and sauna, and ski-bus.

    The main living room is rectangular, and sleeps 2 adults on twin beds.There is a sofa for one child (up to 18) to sleep. The table sits two but can be increased in size for an extra person. There is a TV/DVD player on a sideboard, and a coffee table too by the sofas.

    The modern kitchen has a sink, halogen hob, fridge and microwave (no oven), so is ideal for breakfasts and dinner, as well as snacks and picnic preparation.

    The bathroom has a full size tub, overhead shower, WC and hand-basin.

    There is a storage heater that keeps the room lovely and warm in winter, and there is hot water from our own electric heater for endless hot baths.

    There is a lift to within 3 metres of the front door, and parking is available close to the Owners Apartments side door at the end of the corridor.

    A ski-bus collects guests from the front door, and takes them to the ski lifts 1km and 2kms away along the main road. Langlauf trails pass by the building, and footpaths to local restaurants pass beside the river beside the building in summer.

    A large ADEG supermarket is 500m away on the main road, beside banks, fuel station, shops etc. Bus stops for local public transport are on the main road, to take guests up/down the valley and beyond to Hallstatt, Bad Ischll...

    Gosau is the premier resort for skiers at Dachstein-West ski area. And tourists in summer will come to see the glacier up on the Dachstein mountain reflected in the green waters of the Gosausee at the head of the valley. There is also a cable car to take hikers up the the Zweiselam plateau, and beyond, where several bar/restaurants give good nourishment and splendid views over the pretty mountain side.

    Hallstatt, the UNESCO protected village at lakeside is just 13 kms away. It is most popular with tourists who come from all round the world to explore its lakes, the Salt mine and new aerial platform. Over the lake at Obertraun is another major attraction, the Ice Cave, the 5-Fingers walkway, skiing, and lake swimming beaches.

    Not far way is St Wolfgang on its lake, boating and the cog-railway ride up the Schafberg for magnificent views over 5 lakes!

    Not to be missed are trips to Salzburg (45 minutes) to see the scenic places where the film 'The Sound Of Music' was made, and Bad Ischll where princes came for the hot spas, Bad Aussee where there are 4 lakes to explore.
